What are feeds and why would I subscribe?

As you know, subscribing to our job list feed is totally free and will allow you to see when new jobs have been added to our list without having to come back and check our website! The new jobs will automatically appear in your feed reader!

What exactly is a feed?

A feed is simply a file that can easily be read by what is (oddly enough) referred to as a feed reader. Google Reader is my favorite. So anyways, at TruckingTruth we create a file that we keep here on our site. Every so often - usually about once every hour, any feed reader that knows about our file - otherwise known as being 'subscribed' - will check our file to see if there is anything new. If there is, the reader will download the information and let you know it's there. It's almost like email. You will only recieve a message when there is something new.

So how do you subscribe to our job list feed?

Simple. Type your zip code into the box on our feed page. When the link appears in the box below, copy and paste that link into your favorite feed reader. That's it! Every single new job that comes in will appear in your reader right away! In fact, if you copy and paste several URL's into your reader, you will get all of the job listings for all of those zip codes updated continuously in one place - your reader. Note that the radius that is used for each zip code is 50 miles, so you dont need to include zip codes which are within 50 miles of each other.
