Using Google Reader To Subscribe To Feeds
Google reader is simple as apple pie....eating apple pie that is.....
Here is exactly what you must do to subscribe to our job list feed. It's simple.
First:
You must have an account with Google. Anything you've ever setup with them requires an account. So if you
have Gmail, iGoogle, or any other product from them you already have an account. If not, simply go now to
Google Reader now and sign up for free. The google reader link will open in a new window
so you wont lose your place here when you click.
Second:
Go to our
Job Feed Page and type your zip code into the upper box
and hit the submit button. Within moments a long, jumbled URL with show up in the lower box. Click on it several times until the entire
thing is highlighted in blue. Then right-click on it and choose copy.
Third:
Go to Google Reader. Here is a shot of google reader:

On the left side of the screen you will see a place that says "add subscription". Here's a close-up view of it:

Fourth:
Click on "add subscription" and a box will open. Right-click on that open box and choose "paste" from the menu.
That will paste the URL into the reader like this:

Lastly....
Click the "add" button next to the URL you just pasted in and BAM! You're subscribed. You will see the page come alive
with job listings! Here's my page while viewing a job listing feed from Phoenix, AZ. The first listing is bold because it's new and I'm reading it
for the first time. The rest are faded out because I have already read them.

That's it! You're subscribed! Just go to Google Reader whenever you want to see the current list of jobs. If you'd like more than one zip code, feel free!
Just repeat the exact same process by copying/pasting new URL's into Google Reader and start filling out applications as fast as you can!
I sure hope this helped!
