Courses Offered

STANDARD COURSES

Our standard course is a full time four week program. The hours run Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The schedule for the standard course is approximately once a month. Contact your nearest location for course schedule and tuition.

HAZMAT COURSES

Our Hazmat course is a full time study program. Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the three day program. This is a study course to help students pass the Hazmat Endorsement test. Additional fees and requirements will be necessary for actual Hazmat Endorsment. See Hazmat for further information and tuition costs.

PART TIME COURSES

We offer part time courses based on an individual's schedule. Individuals must complete the state's requirements of 160 hours but can meet with an Eagle representative to set the schedule. We offer mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., afternoons from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and schedules that allow students to attend the full day on set days of the week.

Certifications and Awards

Illinois Secretary of State Certified School List
Eagle is the only Secretary of State Certified School in Rockford Illinois. Eagle is also the only Secretary of State Certified School in Lake in the Hills.

McHenry County College
Eagle Training Services has had a partnership with McHenry County College since 2006.

Harper College
Eagle Training Services has had a partnership with William Rainey Harper College since 2007 running several classes annually.

Workforce Investment Act Certified
Eagle works in conjunction with the states of Illinois and Wisconsin and accepts grants for the CDL-A course. Visit your local unemployment office and ask about training grant for Eagle.

Gordon Larsen Business Achievement Award
Eagle Training Services was presented the Gordon Larksen Business Achievement award at the October 9, 2008 Lake in the Hills Buisness Releations Committee meeting.

Requirements

You do not need a high school diploma or a GED

Individuals must... Be able to read and write the English language Be at least 18 (21 and above is optimum) Be able to meet the DOT Physical Requirements Have a valid driver's license

You may be disqualified if... Your MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) has too many violations You have a recent ticket You have a history of alcohol related violations / incidents You have a history of drug related violations / incidents You've had a motor vehicle accident in the last three years You have recent fellony convictions or a criminal background You have a disability that doesn't allow you to drive You have a physical limitation that doesn't allow you to drive You have a mental disorder
