Michael S.'s Bio

I am a wannabe truck driver. Live in Ontario, Canada, and would like to semi-retire to trucking as I love the country and would like to travel around it while being paid. Yes a silly idea, so for now I'll lurk and comment occasionally.

There will be blood....

I'm looking more and more towards joining the ranks, and have looked at my BP with a home meter. It ranges from 11X/7X to 15x/9x. Yeah, great to why is his head still on. I know that it's in the acceptable range most of the time, should I be worried?

Yeah, I'm cutting back on salt.

Q.2/ will having a cancer disqualify me? I have a slow growing tumor that's being watched.

Damaged Freight Refused

Here's a look at the load of onions that got rejected.

Why were the rejected, OS? I'd think that a shipper wouldn't ship bad onions... Then again, I'm a wannabe.

Yes, you do look like brothers seperated at birth. Have you thought of a DNA test? rofl-2.gifrofl-3.gifrofl-1.gif

Well, if they're not siblings, they're brothers.

THEY ARE COUSINS!

Diamond driver

Curious question from a bystander.

The 99.5% on-time deliveries. Does that get ruined say..If you got stuck in the big blizzard? Or only affected if it's drivers fault for missing a appointment?

You would have to make 199 out of 200 deliveries and pickups on time. Pretty much you'd have to never miss an appointment for a year.

Truth or lies

Without knowing which ads you're looking at it's hard to say.

You'll see many that give figures like "average driver pay $XX,XXX a year". Those are averaging the fleet. Some rookies do make or break the average salary the first year, you might not. Then again, you might do better, it depends on you. This is a truthful, if slightly deceptive ad, as the figure quoted is not guaranteed. Heck, how many people quit a company before finishing a year? The ones that post all those negative reviews. If you're driven to succeed, a go-getter, and willing to work hard your first year, you'll do well.
