Lilragamuffin was a knickname my grandma gave me......she raised me and was very strict......she has been gone for many years now. I am married and have four adult children and three grand babies. I was fortunate to be an at home mom when children were small, then went into healthcare for 11years as cna, administrative asst, activity director. Then for five years worked as an public safety dispatcher/police officer. Hubby was injured the beginning of last year. He is still out of work and having another surgery......life is short.....we have not traveled at all.....the wages in northern maine are low......i have several family members that drive and i am envious of what they get to see.....i know it is a hard job.....and changes quickly,,,,but i am ready to start my journey........ Thank you for this site,,,,,,,it is giving me some excellent information....and i cant wait to meet some of you along it.......

Unfortuately that happens sometimes. At least you are not freaking out and are just rolling with the punches. That goes a long way to making your life as a driver easier (being able to roll with what is thrown in your way).

Well left home little after midnight.....3 hour drive to bus terminAL and it was snowing. Get to terminal they would not accept my confirmation paperwork.....no number on it.....they searched for my name and could not find it.....Called Prime ,,servers were down so they could not find it.....long short of it.....was not able to leave on bus....had to wait for recruiter to get in.....she took care of everything and got me on next bus........so I am on my way.....terrible layover tonight for 3 hours in NY...hoping that maybe another Prime student might be hopping on board........

Is there anyone else in this group that is going to be starting on Monday the 19th????? I leave Friday am by bus 5am,,,, it seems like a long ride,,,but I figure I can study and rest......
Word of Advice keep all important documents on your person or your carry on bag, Greyhound lost my bag this last Sunday but I had all my important things in my backpack. Only lost a bag of clothes. Walmart here I come. I only used the Trucking Truth study material for my permit exam and passed all tests the first try.

Prime.....Day 1 Completed...
I am still in awe,,,,,,day 1 experience awesome...despite the three hour wait to pee in a cup. Day two starts shortly...... I am so impressed with Prime!!!!!
