ITruck2007, the purpose of the High Road CDL Training Program isn't to try and reproduce the test questions. It's designed to actually teach you the material in the CDL manual. It was never meant to be memorized. It is a repetitive learning tool that repeats the material methodically so that you actually learn what it is you need to know. There never was any purpose of trying to show you what questions are in the tests.

I would say about 1/3 to 1/2 of the high road questions were on or almost exactly near the test questions. However, that's not enough to pass. A good portion of the questions I had never seen nor read about before. I was able to answer them correctly by either 1.Process of elimination of what I KNOW must be wrong or 2.Inferring what the right answer must be based on things I've learned from high road.

Cdl test, Clp test

Hey guys,

I once heard, if one Fails their Cdl/Clp permit Test, 3 times they have to Wait 1 whole Year, for a Re-Take.

1.Is it True? 3.Did You, have to a Year, to Re-Take? 3.What States Allow more Re-Takes? 4.If not a Year, then how long?

Thanks God Bless

Truckers Schedule ?

Hey Guys,

Any Truck Drivers out there know, what the Trucker Schedule, Looks like?

What time in the morning, does one begin to Drive?

Do we first perform a Pre-Trip, and an Air Break Test, before you Drive?

How Often does one Perform, a Pre-Trip, and an Air Break Test? (And how often, Say a Day or a Week?)

How Long does one Drive, til You Take your Break?

How Long is your Break?

Do we only Drive, 8 hours a Day?

Could I Drive Longer than 8 hours a Day?

And How many Breaks does one Get a Day?

Thanks Guys, God Bless

How many Times, am I Allowed to Fail my CDL (CLP) Written Test?

Thanks Turtle, You think all Prime Schools allow as many as You Need? What Prime did You Go to? If You don't mind me Asking.

I can't speak for other company schools, but here at Prime we were allowed 2 chances per test per day. So for example:

If you take the air-brakes test and fail, you can retake the test right then & there. If you fail it again, no worries, just go back to the hotel and try 2 more times tomorrow. And so on...

As far as I know, there is no upper limit on how many times you can take the permit tests. At least I've never heard of one.

Like Rob said, study the High Road CDL Training Program and it'll be a cakewalk. The program is formatted in such a way that it really makes it easy to learn.
