How long to get drug test results?

Thank you! Still waiting in Dallas. I might starve to death before I get out of here. Hope my trainer and I get along and work well together. Any advice on how to make the best of the next few weeks ?

How long to get drug test results?

We had people get put on hold twice. Once during school and once during orientation because they were waiting for test results. I don't know about follicle testing, but with urinalysis testing a lot of the bigger companies use the same clinics/labs in an area. In Fontana it is Swift, CR England, CRST, JB Hunt, and I think US Express all using the same clinics. When you figure that orientation can have around 60 drivers the clinics/labs can get behind real quick.

I do not think it is anything other than the sheer number of tests being run at a given time.

I am in Dallas and started orientation on Monday. That day they took armpit hair for testing. I assumed it would only take about 48 hours to get results back but I am still waiting. Not concerned that they will be positive but until I get cleared I am sitting here making no money. Do they deliberately hold results so they don't have to start paying you while you wait for a trainer to be available?

Thanks for the reply. It gets frustrating just sitting and not getting paid. And this terminal is like a prison cause it is in a bad area and no where to go nearby.

Texas CDL skills test fail

I was thinking about how the last examiner told it was when I hit the cone. He said I had to fail ONE section 3 times in order to have to start over from the beginning. I haven't failed any section 3 times. As I understood him when I go back I will have to do the maneuvers again and the driving not any of the sections I have passed already? Is that correct? Or did I misunderstand him?

Thanks again..

Yes, you have to start all over. Your permit is no longer valid. Retake the written tests, get a new permit, and you have three more chances.

Thank you for the information. I will consider that.

Youtube has videos about pre-trip inspections. Something else to consider if money is getting tight; Roehl Transport will pay you $500.00 weekly to attend their school in Grand Prairie, plus provide meals and lodging. They're the only company that actually puts students on salary during school. You'll have no trouble passing with Roehl.

ACO476 thank you for clarifying. I see you started your training about the same time as me. Now that I will have to start over again do you have any tips or pointers for me? The pre trip got me twice and then hitting a cone the last time when parallel parking.

Thanks a gain.
