I started driving in 83, will before that but I wasn't 21. and it was a chauffer. you did a written test lay down your money and that was it. and it was the 70's trucker got there bad name. I came off the road then back out in 96' it was a CDL then. and I had to go to a school because I had no trk, 2 weeks. then off again 01'i drove mostly flat bed, but did refer ,Dry van, and have pulled pups. OTR and LAX to PDX. solo/team. like team better if OTR. was a owner/opp with my hubby we had a 770 Volvo lemon/ back when the OOIDA had class action 250 filed /won to. and just so you know there is no lemon law on a trk. I don't know about now. any way I'm thinking about starting over. but I like flat bed. or may be a bull wagon I grown up a cowgirl. the but I'm getting to old for tough stuff. so I'm not sure yet? but I like Horse ,cows , and those old sexy trucks. and that pic is not my trk. but don't know how to load one on this laptop. and I'm not sure where I going to go but I'm sick of the rain. well I learned to drive in a cab over. my trainer would sit on the doghouse and would use the hand brake if he needed and boy would a lot of newbie's cry if they hand to do a pre-trip on 1 now because you hand to tip the hole cab just to see. have CDL in hand now just thinking about what I want to be when I grow up

I think it up to what you like in foot ware. but on the old Mack I drove one years ago not fast on the straight . but when it came to climbing it would walk away for the rest of them with a bigger load. and it was a pure breed so I don't know what was under the hood. there good trucks,

Sorry no , but I do wear cowboys boots. and use to get a mud brush and put it on the steps so I could wipe them when needed. or keep a hand broom by your door.

Opps tarps not sure about this laptop but some have 8 foot drops/ and what's going on out there now days . last time I was out was 10 years ago?

I'm only 5 /4 and it's better then dry van or refer. it's not that bad after you learn to strap and the braker bar you use little tricks. what sucks is when you trap and the wind comes up, so bun g real fast. or you might get to go sky diving. and have the guy's put your traps up with there forks. and some times it's hard to get up on top a load but ride up with your traps. chain& binders can suck but use your braker bar. if that don't work care a longer bar to put over the end so it's easier, and yah the guys laugh at yah when the trap go's air born with you hanging on but most of the time they will run over and pull you back down. and if you can pull your weight then once they know yah very buddy will help each other . I love flat bed, or drop deck, never did low boy. but i only know how to drive a john green no cats. but know matter how hard you try they only call you a little straper.
but a hard hat comes in handy chain saw hammer nails rubber rope. there's more but you learn that

Well i am thinking about going back out on the road. so how is it now after 10 years away .
ok girls really now how bad is it out there. when I first started we didn't have but few showers. someone tell me is it better or not? last time I was out it was hard to find somewhere to park and sleep with the new laws they put in. truck stops would fill fast. so has a lot changed

Trucking is looking the same
boy it looks like the good old days are gone. what are they saying to you as solo drivers to stay safe now days. and I hate to say it but the pay is about the same. are there any women flatbed drivers and are they running teams. are you solo's making any money.
