Patrick 's Bio

I am a 70 old from Texas who has always had no interest in sports, or marriage, or drinking. I am an atheist who thinks religion is just a formalized and ritualized mental disorder.

Is 700 miles a day possible

I have heard some drivers go 700 miles per day. I did not think that would be possible, considering all the variables that can slow you down on the highway. Can somebody explain how 700 miles is possible? thank you

Panther Trucking

I have just been hired by Panther and would like to get some feedback from anybody about the company. They will allow my cat on the truck the very first day, so that's wonderful

Medical help for pets on truck

I am about to bring my cat on the truck with me. I would like to hear from drivers who have had their pets on the truck for some time, how do you get you dog or cat to the vet when you are on a load hundreds of miles from your own vet, and your truck won't be able to park at the vets office in the city you are next to?

Truck drivers and the coronavirus

Does anybody know at what rate Truck drivers are being exposed to the coronavirus, or because of the nature of the job, are truck drivers avoiding getting the virus.

Does the state suspend CDL when medical card expires

I would like to know from everybody. Do states suspend the CDL when the medical card expires, or do states do different things. When my medical card expired Alabama suspended my CDL, and would not reinstate it until I sent them a copy of my new medical card.

Face masks at truck stops

Since I have not been on the road since December, can anybody give me some advice as to if Love's, Pilot, or T/A make it mandatory to wear face masks while fueling or making a purchase in the store?

Coronavirus in a new truck

If a driver turns in his truck, and he has the virus, will the company clean the truck sufficiently enough so when the truck is assigned to another driver, he is not exposed to the virus, along with his dog or cat

Smart Freight Express in Griffith IN

I have been accepted as a driver by Smart Freight Express in Griffith IN. They said they will reimburse me up to $100.00 for the trip up from Alabama to Indiana. They will accept my cat from day 1. Does anybody know anything about them. Are they great, good, fair, poor or whatever?

Keeping pets away from petals

I have never had a pet on a truck, but next week I will have my cat. He is 2. How do you keep a cat away from the petals at your feet? I don't have a clue except to keep them in the bunk area. But that feels like it would put them in confinement all day. That isn't fair to them.
