Why do you need a CB?

They are cheap, easy to hook up and come with simple instructions.

So I came into home terminal last night...

I got a spring in my step just hearing about that. And a big smile on my face. But betting on the drivers? Nay Nay

Why do you need a CB?

After a long discussion, here on TT, we did get a cb. Took a week, trying to figure what we needed. Price, antennas, etc. We were over thinking it. We were thinking what a big hassel we're getting into. We bought a $45 one, hooked it up to existing cables and turned it on. Read the instructions, channel 19 for emergencies, skwelched it down and didn't hear much for 2 days. Then out of nowhere we heard "break lights!, break lights! After exit such n such! Blah blah blah!" Around the curve and over a small hill we see a mile or more of stopped traffic. 4 wheelers were turning around and going the other way! This was a major interstate in Georgia. We found out a twister whipped a tt on it's side and tore thru trees and huge billboards. We found out how long they were there, what happened, when they started to roll again. We got to warn drivers behind us to slow down. 45 bucks. No excuse.

From Teaching to Trucking - My Journey So Far

I think you're doing it. You're focussing on the day it's all over and you'll have your own truck and you'll drive off into the sunset with that big smile on your face. Cant imagine what ur going thru but sharing is giving away some of the pain. We'll take some of your pain away and toss it aside. Hang in there.

White coat syndrome and blood pressure

That's interesting. I didn't know there was such a syndrome. I used to get mad with my parents that every time they went to the doctors' they'd get some new prescription. Whether pills or other procedures with other specialists. They had REALLY good insurance. Mom had 16 pills she took every day. They eventually killed her. They thought that doctors were gods. Whatever they said was from the highest authority. I couldn't change their minds that doctors look up in a book what ailments you have and the book says what pill to prescribe. If you want to get better, talk to a nurse. If you ask a nurse what they think of their doctors they'd say they are idiots. If it wasn't for nurses the doctors couldn't make it in the health field. I could write a book on the subject, but it's already been written. Find the cause of you're high blood pressure before your cork pops. Or go get your pills. It's your decision. Thanks for listening.
