Medical card renewal

Hey everyone, I have to renew my medical card and my DM is telling me to go do it on my day off. My question is, should I be on the clock and getting paid for doing and getting it renewed? My DM told me that I wont be getting paid for the hours I spend on my day off doing it because it is not job related. Thanks and I would appreciate the feedback.

How many times have you locked yourself out?

I have 3 times already lol, I keep a spate in my wallet but sometimes I leave my wallet in the space ship. I decided to buy a lock out kit from loves and it has saved me and other drivers the pain and embarrassment of calling for help lol, I keep the lock out kit somewhere outside the truck hidden obviously for emergencies.

Truck Stop Horror Stories

My horror story was at the TA in Coachella. A woman knocks on my door saying she's selling tamales and I think wow tamales heck yes! But she wasn't selling tamales she just wasn't, that was just a cover of offering her services to me. I was really bummed because I really wanted tamales, I told her that what she did was horrible and shut my door. I cried a little inside my truck thinking that I could be eating some tamales right now. Yeah so that's my story, it still hurts to think about it.

Quick fix for refrigerator break down! ASAP

If you do use dry ice just be safe and make sure your Windows are down so you don't accidentally suffocate. Not sure if the cooler will help with that I myself haven't tried dry ice in the truck in a cooler only because I don't want to die lol

Don't know if my truck can handle it.

My lightest load was 2 tarps and all the assorted hardware for a couple of side dump trailers. Maybe 500 pounds total that went from Helena to Spokane. Probably would have been cheaper for them to buy new tarps for those trailers.

Haha yeah probably, what do some people think sometimes lol

I got a pretty heavy load and I don't know if my truck can handle it! I haven't had one of these in a while and I'm nervous, it's a whopping 3,000 lb load oh man I'm gonna be heavy on my drives for sure lol hahaha, easy peasy.
