I have a hypothetical question. What if a truck driver lived on the road full time live like the retirees that sell their home to travel in an RV? How would handle the permanent address problem with the DOT and your employer?

Need insight on part time regional driving job
I have been offered a job as a part time regional truck driver for Schneider in the southwest. The details they gave me are 3-4 days a week and average 2500 miles a month. If I figure 3.5 days per week on average that will put me averaging about 180 miles a day. Why so low? Will I really be sitting still that much?

Homeless truck driver
A PO box won't work for claiming residency. I had two reasons for asking the question. First - I am needing to establish residency in a state where I don't know anyone. There is a college program there that I am interested in and need to qualify for in-state tuition. Second - I've thought about letting my apartment go while trucking for a bit. The potential savings would really help when I start college.
