So my husband is wanting to go to trucking school and get his CDL. we live in ohio at the moment. i don't know if all trucking schools are pretty much the same or what. i saw that roehl pays you to get your CDL. i was wondering if that is accurate or if it's a good school. my husband and i are hurting financially right now. he is worried that it will be hard to get into trucking because he was convicted of a felony many years ago. most places wont even hire you if you have a felony conviction. but he has a good driving record. and he was in the marines for 8 years and did 4 tours in iraq. he was wounded pretty bad, he has titanium in his sternum and his arm has titanium in it as well, but he can use both arms and is fully functioning. he has been doing construction under the table but it's such hard labor and we both want him to find something more stable, so we thought truck driving would be great. but i just worry about his felony. he can pass a drug test and is not a drug user, so it's not a drug issue or anything like that. if anyone could suggest a good school or if you have any info or advice, that would be great!! thanks so much
