O/O hiring co-driver?

Prime could reject them, since you're under their authority and insurances. Could be wrong but that's logical.

Oh, I thought you paid for your own insurance as an O/O

O/O hiring co-driver?

Say you're an O/O at Prime and want to hire a co-driver. Does the co-driver apply through Prime or is it all through the O/O? Can Prime reject a co-driver from getting hired?

Does switching to personal conveyance start your 14 hr clock?

If I've been in sleeper berth for 10+ hrs, then switched to personal conveyance for a few minutes to drive down the block then switch back to sleeper berth, would that start my 14 hr clock?

Coil beds for team driving?

I want to upgrade from the lovely mattress that came with my truck, and I'm teaming up in a couple months so I'm wondering if anyone's had problems bouncing around on a coil bed while the truck is moving?

Prime inc- 4th day of home time

So I'm a company driver at Prime and I'm on my 4th day of home time. 4 days is apparently the longest I can be home, right? So do I tell them I'm ready to get back on the road or do they just assign me a load when they have one?

Truck GPS vs. app?

Is the routing any better than trucking apps like trucker path? It's just hard to stomach dropping $400 on something a cheap little app can do.

Gauge weight SHIFTS?

I adjust the tandems to where the gauge weight says 34,000, and then a few hours later I'm parked and they say 37,000! This has happened more than once. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Parking at night?

I've been a solo driver for a grand total of three days now, and so far I've managed to avoid parking at night, but it looks like my next load will make me force me to. Can anyone tell me about those mystical parking havens you manage to find at night?
