Gladhand, how long have you been solo now?

double-quotes-end.png

Almost 8 months now.

I was thinking along the same lines as Brett. Complacency will get you every time.

Yup and it caught me real good. I won't be getting a nice bonus for the first quarter this year, but thankfully I learned a lesson with minor incidents, instead of career ending ones.

I'm impressed by all the good advise in this thread, much of it applicable to other areas of life. But most of all, I'm impressed by Gladhand's willingness both to share his difficulties and to accept the tough-love that has come his way.

Had to call CSPD to come block traffic so I could make a U-turn and go to a different exit.

Paul, please tell me you didn't lock your keys in the Truck while the Cops were there!!!

Remember he just uses the hole in the back of his cab to get in.

In a way we are a family on here. We share out triumphs and failures. When we reach great milestones we give each other a pat on the back. When we fall on our faces, we will pick each other up, but we make sure to ask what is learned and to make sure the lesson learned sticks. We joke with each other and we call BS when it applies. We are an extended support group for one another. No one understands the trials and tribulations of trucking like another trucker.
