Figured we could laugh at some of your responses.

Every time I get jolted out of a deep sleep by a loud noise or even the wind rocking the truck, I have this fear I'm late for the load.

I keep having the same dream that either I caused an accident and all my tires flattened at one time, leaving me to limp away...or my tires all inflate and explode like the stay puff marshmallow man. I wake and jump to the seat thinking I'm late.

Then I realize I'm either backed into the customers door...or I already delivered and am empty.

So come on....give.me your best analysis on what is causing the dreams and how to stop them lol

PTSD. That's the answer to all my problems. And I'm not even driving yet.

You've got a program in your brain telling you to worry about your load. It's constantly playing, but during the day it's drowned out by other things so you don't notice it as much. When you sleep your distractions are gone, but that little program is still running. Your subconscious is using your dreams to communicate your worries about your load to you. You've got to find something else to focus on before going to bed. Something to entertain your brain besides the default, "Worry about my load" program. What did you dream about before you started driving a truck?

I usually fear I'm too early with the load...

Cold War...

Before trucking I'd dream wild.movie like dreams. Always have.

I was involved with an alcoholic and when he would return to drinking I dreamt Jason Voorhees was chasing me through my moms house. I was never scares in that dream...just running all the time and hiding.

I once had a dream that continued every night for two.months like a miniseries. When it ended I was mad. Lol

Rick...speak for yourself...and Tastebuds that soundsnlike a personal problem. They have meds for that now. Lol

Huh? You see, what happened was, when I was a pizza delivery guy, I had a delivery of 50 something pizzas I delivered when my manager told me too. Unfortunately, there was a mix up and I ended up delivering the load an hour early. It still gIves me nightmares. So ... how do they have medicine for that??
