Swift had several LNG day cabs at the Memphis terminal last year. They're gone now. I never drove one.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.

I just started with a new company and was put into a Liquefied Natural Gas powered Peterbilt and just wanted to know if they all are bad about pulling uphill or am I just lucky?
I know they have less compression than diesels but I wonder how much of it is due to it being governed?
If it wasn't for that and if they had more fueling stations it wouldn't be bad at all, especially the part about it being so quiet...
If your just reading this and you don't have an LNG truck. When your diesel truck is shut off but the truck next to you is on and your in the sleeper... that's about how loud it is in an LNG while it's running.
