Don't take too much to training. There is limited space in your trainer's truck.
Pack a week's worth of clothes, a sleeping bag, pillow, sturdy gloves, a flashlight, some laundry pods, a towel and wash cloth, baby wipes, personal care items, and some non refrigerated food and snacks.
Your trainer may or may not have a fridge that you can share space in.
Don't worry about stocking your own truck until after you go solo. Travel light during training.
After you are issued your own truck, most companies will get you a load to route you home for a few days (ask them what they do) so you can outfit your truck.
What I keep in mine:. like bedding that feels great. I put a memory foam topper on my mattress, high end comforter and sheets, I have several thick rugs. Basically it's whatever you choose to outfit your truck with to make it homey and efficient so you can do your job.

I just passed my driving test the 13th and I will be going to training in the next week or so. I was wondering what I would need when I get my own truck. I really like the company that I am going to drive for but I did not get all the information that I wanted. I will be talking to her again Monday so I will be asking a bunch more questions. Thanks Chatterbox P.S. That is the nickname that I picked up in school.
