Were you eating at the Iron Skillet at the Oak Grove 70 Petro outside KC around 1730 tonight?

If that wasn't you sitting across from us, it could have been your brother!

I noticed on the TT Tracker that he was probably in the same truck stop I was at in St. Joseph, MO, a couple of nights ago, but I didn't notice that until I was already gone from there. I think we should maintain this thread for Old School sightings going forward, in case someone (like me) forgets to check the tracker.

Haha! Old School sightings are rare! He's elusive and always on the move.

That was not me at the Iron Skillet ChickieMonster, but if it would have been I would have been glad to say hello to you guys!

Bud I was in St. Joseph the other day for my ten hour break, but I left out of there about two in the morning. We may have been there at the same time! I would have loved to get to chat with you!

Daniel B. has caught up with me a few times, Robert (the dragon slayer) opened the door for me at the Pilot in Dandridge, TN - but didn't introduce himself. He let me know on the forum a few days later!

Just recently one of our members, "Bug Smasher One" caught up with me at the Berkey's Restaurant in the TA @ exit 195 on I-81 Lexington, Virginia.

Here we are sharing a nice breakfast together... I'm the one with his elbows on the table.

Bug Smasher One is a great friend and an even greater recruiter. He puts Allie Knight to shame the way he is always trying to recruit me to his company. He and I worked together on the SAPA dedicated account until he moved on to other things.

I'll keep my eyes open for some of you, and I usually try to log myself onto the Trucker Tracker at the end of my drive shift on a daily basis. There's no telling what time that may be, but usually I will do it once a day.

Yeah, I think you were probably in the bunk when I pulled in there, and I was definitely in the bunk when you left at two. I left at four in the morning. We'll have to coordinate schedules better!

Old School,

if you happen to be in the Hampton Roads area (Norfolk VA, SE corner of VA), let me know. I'm home until just after Memorial Day, then I'm heading back to Springfield MO to pick up my new 579 Peterbilt.

Be safe, call me sometime.

Daniel,

Being how you are still a kid in diapers, you wouldn't understand.... But that's ok, you'll learn all about life as you get older..... Trust me.....

When you were a young man......You're still a kid. Old School and I both are old enough to be your Dad (in my case, old enough to be your Granddad).

Youngsters, just can't teach them anything these days.
