I know nothing about this account but I am sure someone will come along soon to give you some info. All I can say is it will more than likely be a ton of hand unloads and you better bring your backing skills as some of them places are really tight and in no way built for a big truck.

Welcome Dennis.

For the reasons Ice Cold mentioned, not the best account for a rookie driver to cut their teeth on. Very, very close quarter maneuvering that based on your experience, will likely cause higher stress levels and increased risk of hitting something.

Use the srearch bar in the left, upper corner to find all the archived information on Dollar Accounts or Dollar Dedicated.

Good luck.

If you got experience you should know how tough it can be. I recommend looking at some of the stores on Google maps that acct covers. A lot of those dollar stores are in crazy areas. When I did walmart with swift we had a really hard store that everyone had to take turns going to. I cried about it the first day I did it and then I noticed dollar tree was next door. It instantly made me not feel bad any more. That coupled with manual labor in a hot trailer keeps me very far away from that type of account.

Well, the sign on bonus and money might be appealing, as others have mentioned, lots of close quarters maneuvering and not a good place to cut your teeth on... plus, unless your in very good shape, all the unloading will make you tired and sore..... I would look at other accounts, like a home depot or wal mart dedicated.....

After a year or so, then consider it....

I see this recommendation for the use of Google maps regularly. For those drivers who utilize the "Truckerpath" app, which I assume is most, (if currently don't have it, it takes a cpl minutes to download from app store), there is a satellite icon in the upper right corner, next to magnifying glass that provides overhead view of setup.
