G-Town: You, and others here, do a great job of countering all of the negative things that I read about Swift. I know much of what is online about trucking comes from the complainers, but it is hard for a new person like myself to sift through everything and figure out what is true and what is not. This site is awesome in doing that, and so much more.

Thanks Colin. We appreciate the positive feedback!

The only thing I can say about hearing aids is I am supposed to wear mine. I need new ones, just need to make time to go see the VA. Since I am able to pass hearing tests (either the booth or whisper) without them, I am sure no one bother thinking any different. TBH, my passing those tests has more to do with skewing the results in my favor.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

DanielSahn: Thank you for the info on the A1C levels and the one year medical card. I did not know this. I will cross my fingers when I get my complete physical next month.

Best Regards and Stay Safe Out There, Colin K.

You are welcome. Just watch what you eat, as you know, and really learn how your body works with the slow and fast sugars, and always remember to log your numbers. I use glucose buddy, for my daily blood sugar logs. It is very helpful.

You got this.
