I figured I would throw this out there, just south of Paducah, KY on US-45 there is a small office area, that has an office with Gainey Transportation Services still on the sign. If you are ever up for a road trip down memory lane.
Hey that's awesome! Pretty cool, man. I appreciate that.
To fill everyone in, that was the first company I ever worked for. In fact, here is a picture of me when I was 21 in 1993. The word "Gainey" was cut off in the picture, but that's a Gainey truck. That's my sister, my niece, and my nephew alongside me.
That is an old Gainey truck. Looks like the pattern they had thru the 80s. When my father was driving for Gainey, they already started switching the logo over to the silver/maroon GTS logo.
Brett, are you sure the pic isn't from 1983? With the long hair and fingerless gloves, lol. Talk about self incrimination. I'm just picking. We all fell victim to the big hair bands of the late 80s / early 90s, LoL. For some reason Bon Jovi: Wanted Dead or Alive springs to mind.

Fell victim? That was the second best era in the history of the 20th century! The best being the bebop of the 50's and early 60's of course.
Man, the 80's were absolutely awesome. I loved every second of it. The music, the movies, the attitude people had toward life - it was amazing. If I could be reborn again at any time during the 20th century I'd pick the early 40's first because I'd want to be a teenager during the bebop years. But I'd certainly pick the the era I was born in a close second (I was born in '71) because being a teenager during the 80's was just awesome.
Loving the t-shirt Brett! Big Braves fan lol
Haha love the fingerless gloves. Devan keeps teasing me I need to get some. Of course, that was back in the day when you kinda needed them though..
