I'm new. Very new.

I want to bring my dog with me. What companies hire out of central florida, train new students, and allow a big doggie.

What kind and how big. CFI requires a $500.00 pet deposit. You would have to call them to see if they hire from your area. They will train you. You would have to wait until you go solo to take the dog with you. I have seen guys with some pretty big dogs.

You could enter "pets" in the search box (top left corner) or use the three bar menu just above that to find a List Of Trucking Companies That Allow Pets that has some more suggestions.

Being based in Central Florida will be dicey. Companies hire from areas that have freight at least passing through. Not so much with Florida.

Thanks guys. This is so cool.

I've been researching for a while now. But the pet status changes. I'm considering US Xpress, but I'll definetly research CFI as well. Oh Mastiff Boxer Mix. American Mastiff not English. He's about 65 pounds I think. Sweet dog.

I work at Tampa Ship here in Florida. I saw a woman driving for CFI with a large dog in her truck. I thought when I saw her I wanna do that!

When they ask how much doggy weighs. Tell them he only weighs 29. very softly add the word kilograms.

At CFI we have drivers with small to large dogs. I know at least one woman with a beautiful sweet pitbull. CFI is very family oriented.

If im not mistaken Melton allows any breed up to 80 pounds. Not sure if they hire in your area. Hope this helps
