I took mine in MO, and it was a multiple choice-true\false format.
The tests are set up so that you must get a certain percentage of questions correct to pass. Once you reach the max limit of wrong answers, you fail. Each question gives you the option to skip that question and come back to it later. So if you're unsure of the answer, skip it rather than guess at it. Answer all of the ones you know first, and the other ones will come around again. This way you might reach the number of correct answers needed to pass without having to answer the harder ones.
I should add, you only get to skip each question once. Next time around, you have to take a guess.
Hey, Curt. I also took my test in MO. Another cool thing about taking the test on the computer is that once you answer enough questions correctly, the test stops and you automatically get correct answers for the remaining questions. For example, I didn't have any incorrect answers on the air brakes section and the test ended with a few questions left unanswered. I was still given a 100%.
Good luck on your tests!
I took my written MO on paper. 4 choices, and you can eliminate 2. gives you a 50/50 chance for ones you are not do the ones you know first and sometimes the answers are in other questions. good luck
Thanks Turtle. Can’t wait to get the ball rollin’

I am about to take my CDL permit test in Missouri. Can someone tell me what the format of the test is like? For example... is it all multiple choice and true/false questions? Or more than that? Thanks for any replies.
