Swift APUs And Sleep Apnea

I drive for Swift and have not seen any company trucks with APUs. You should be able to run a CPAP on the inverter in the newer company trucks. I have a 2018 t680 and it'll run a microwave so a cpap shouldn't be a problem.
CPAP:
Constant Positive Airway Pressure
CPAP is a breathing assist device which is worn over the mouth or nose. It provides nighttime relief for individuals who suffer from Sleep Apnea.
APU:
Auxiliary Power Unit
On tractor trailers, and APU is a small diesel engine that powers a heat and air conditioning unit while charging the truck's main batteries at the same time. This allows the driver to remain comfortable in the cab and have access to electric power without running the main truck engine.
Having an APU helps save money in fuel costs and saves wear and tear on the main engine, though they tend to be expensive to install and maintain. Therefore only a very small percentage of the trucks on the road today come equipped with an APU.

I'm showing my young age and tech background here; however, I run a wealth of Tech within my truck off two inverters and no APU.
Now, I would suggest a couple things when running items off inverters. I would suggest buying a pure Sine inverter. Depending on what you have running a reasonable 1500 watt 3000 watt peak will run your cpap and anything else you want such as TV, laptop, phone charging, microwave, hotplate, etc.
The reason I suggest the more expensive pure sine vs modified sine is due to the sensitivity of your equipment. Pure sine is clean power that you expect from a normal home situation, modified sine is..what's called dirty power. It gets the job done, but sensitive electronics could see more wear and tear on circuits if they've not been built with internal converters.
If you need help with anything like this let me know. I've got more tech installed in this Volvo than most have in their homes haha!

Colin if you require a CPAP , Swift will install a properly matched inverter. You will not be required to purchase one.

I'm still in the process of applying for trucking companies and had a question for Swift drivers:
I read that they do not have APUs. However, on a thread from this site from almost 2 1/2 years ago, it was posted that, "Only way to get APU in the truck is if you have medical condition ala sleep apnea." I have a sleep apnea machine.
Does anyone here know if that is indeed the case re: getting an APU at Swift? Long story short. the Swift recruiter said she'd call me again in weeks after I get a few other things in order. I was hoping to get answer before that time without having to bother her.

Sleep Apnea:
A physical disorder in which you have pauses in your breathing, or take shallow breaths, during sleep. These pauses can last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Normal breathing will usually resume, sometimes with a loud choking sound or snort.
In obstructive sleep apnea, your airways become blocked or collapse during sleep, causing the pauses and shallow breathing.
It is a chronic condition that will require ongoing management. It affects about 18 million people in the U.S.
