Wow, fantastic photos!
See, I love this kind of stuff. Trucking is a grand adventure and I don't think enough people approach it that way. Most of the years I spent on the road I lived in the truck. I didn't have a home or a vehicle or anything. I just travelled around and lived wherever I was moment to moment. I did everything I could find to do - auto racing from local dirt track to NASCAR races, football games from little league to the NFL, concerts, festivals, and long hikes or runs in beautiful scenery.
Trucking really is a grand adventure if you're the adventurous type. Life on the road really is awesome fun. Thanks for sharing that with us!
Pretty cool ive been able to knock a few things off my bucketlist too so yea thats a bonus most prolly dont apreciate

Upon returning from our time off my team mate and i were given a nice little 4760 mile run from NC to Oakland and back to Denton TX via a few in between stops....fantastic! 👍
But, what occurred to me about this run was that, if managed properly, it had some extra time built into the schedule. It does not deliver until Monday morning and after calling the receiver to make sure that that would not take the load today, we decided to spend the extra day in Flagstaff rather than parked somewhere around the bay area.
Chris has never seen the Grand Canyon and we figured that this was the perfect opportunity; if we ran hard enough to guarantee having the time to do so.
So, Thursday and Friday, we pushed out 2271 miles between us. By doing So, we were able to spend the whole day yesterday shopping for supplies, getting haircuts and then having the entire afternoon playing tourist!
Even the weather cooperated and we had a fab day!
A nice little 'side benefit' of this career methinks! 👍😊
I have been to the canyon numerous times; but it still takes my breath away!
Happy days!
