You will definitely have to attend truck driving school. You can technically get your license without attending an official school, but nobody will hire you without legitimate training so basically you have to attend a truck driving school. As somebody who just recently took the CDL written tests here in Illinois, I can say the questions in the practice tests are very similar to what I had on the actual test. And I mean very similar. You're also spot on about understanding the wording. The people in my class who had the most problems were the older folks who have been out of school for a long time. They weren't used to the multiple choice format. And yes, they word the questions / answers in ways that make it confusing. I personally don't think that's the most efficient way to test, but that's how it is. If two answers seem correct, you have to figure out which one is the MOST correct. Well done Brett! Brett,
