One of the biggest problems the trucking industry faces today is driver turnover. From what I’ve seen over the years, a lot of the problem stems from either a driver’s unrealistic expectations of life on the road, unrealistic expectations from the company he/she is working for, or miscommunication between the driver and the company – especially dispatch.
At TruckingTruth we’d love to bring a few dispatchers on board to write their own blog! We deal with drivers that are brand new to the industry and the ability to understand the dispatching side of trucking and the chance to open up conversation between new drivers and dispatchers would go a long way toward helping these drivers understand what lies ahead.
If you’re a dispatcher, load planner, or work in the office of any trucking company, we’d love to have you onboard! Read my article about making money blogging for TruckingTruth and see what you think!
We’d love to know the daily life of dispatch – what challenges you face, what you’re looking for from your drivers, what authority you have and don’t have, and all the rest! So if you’re interested, email me at brett@truckingtruth.com and we’ll get ya goin right away! Thanks!
