A Bus Accident That Never Should Have Happened

My boss and I and another woman driver were at the Conway, Arkansas bus factory picking up two new buses that we would deliver to our Ames, Iowa office before the buses would be delivered to the Iowa school districts that ordered them. Unfortunately, the busses were never going to make it to their destination. Continue reading

The Training Truck

This is month two of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with their talk of how they are now truck drivers. PLEEEASE! You know nothing after 2 weeks. You abuse me by grinding my gears and not keeping me clean. I am not thrilled at all running around in a parking lot all day. Continue reading

The Graveyard

Full of dead semi’s and buses in a back lot, all are silent and aging and rusting in their final resting place. Oh, the stories they could tell us. The buses are on one side and the semi’s are on another. They have been dumped for newer models. Their owners quickly forgot how dependable they were with all the miles and years they had together. Continue reading
