CDL Training – Confidence is Building and Another Pre-Hire Recieved!
Thursday and Friday of last week were really good days for me. I’m really starting to feel much more confident in my driving skills and the rest of my class is improving greatly as well. Now things are starting to get interesting. My entire class passed the CDL-A exams on our first try, so today we got to drive the trucks! My 4th and 5th Day of Truck Driving School – Passing My CDL Written Exams!
Hello once again everyone. Well, since the title of this post gives it away, I’ll start off by saying I took my CDL written exams today so I could obtain my CDL permit. I passed! In order to get my permit, I had to pass three sections; General Knowlege, Air Brakes, and Combination Vehicles. I decided to take it a couple steps further and also took the Doubles / Triples certification exams as well as the exam for Tankers. I got 100% on every single exam! Unreal! Continue reading
CDL Training – My Third Day of Truck Driving School!
Another day of truck driving school down, one day closer to getting into the truck! Today was a fun, but challenging day. The information keeps building and building and our instructor is really pushing us to remember everything. After all, our CDL permit test is this Friday. Only two days away! While it’s a bit stressful trying to learn so much information in such a short period of time, I feel it’s well within my abilities. And the things I’m learning are things I’m truly interested in, so it makes things much more bearable. Continue reading
