Glad you liked the story. It does make me feel somewhat better that this is a problem in your country too, but it never should be a problem. The men would not like it if this issue was reversed!

And I am also easy going but like you will explode in situations like this. So sad that we women have to explode to get waited on when you eat alone. The man who got your opinion will remember that for a long time and if he waits on tables, he will never ever be slow in taking the women's orders.

Healthy food is a problem for all on the road here and in your country. Time to change that.

Comment on "Woman drivers trying to get something to eat"

You really hit a point on this one.
Here in Europe it is exactely the same thing!!!

It has happened to me on a regular basis. You really have to call out to the waiter to get his or her attention. Guys don't have to go that far.

At one time after waiting for 30 nearly 40 minutes and 2times called the waiter I LEFT to cook a meal in my Rig. I had a macrowave oven in there. And there comes the guy who walks over the parking area (in order to park for free you have to eat in the restaurant) and want's me to go away.
Well I exploded just like the volcano on Iceland!!!

This poor guy go the full load of my anger ;)
And usually I am quite mellow ... not angry very easilly.

He did not believe me ... so I *****dy asked for the manager ... and in the end got my restaurant dinner for FREE!!! :)
With a lot of (here my knowledge of the english language leaves me) epolodgy's

Also it is hard to get the truckersdiscount.
Usually that is 10% off. I am f*** the only one who must show her drivinglicence in order to get the discount.

One of the few reasons I bought myself a microwaveoven ;)
Also the fact that healty food is nearly not available on the road.

We also get points over here (Holland) FREEBEES they are called.
For each liter we get 1 Freebee, that's € 0.01 ... not much but when you fuel up your Big Rig saving up Freebees goes really fast.

At the Free record shop you can buy DVD's or music and in some other stores a lot of other stuff you don't really need ;)

But saving things for free is just FUN :)
