So you are/did train with Central Refrigerated? I am going there too and I am from PA. Now I am curious as to what the Dot Physical in Utah consists of? Can you give me a run down of what to expect? Thanks for your time.

I'm certainly glad that you have an instructor with a sense of humor. I found that it helped me to retain more because I could relate it to something funny instead of something solemn.

I never had to deal with the electronic logbook that you speak of. I only used the paper logbooks and sometimes I had to keep up to three each for hubby and me to run the way that we did. I can say this now only because we've been off the road for 9 years, but that was really hard to do running three different books for each of us and making sure that we had the right one if we happened to get pulled over or asked to come into a weigh station. THAT was intense!

We're very glad to see that you're studying because that's the only way you'll get past the hardest part of truck driving. Once you have that CDL in your pocket, you'll be thankful for all of this. And you'll be a better driver for it! Keep up the good work.

Looking forward to your next post!
