I'll tell you one thing - you have a <em>ton</em> of advantages once you get out on the road. We didn't have cell phones, GPS, in-cab satellite communications, collision-avoidance systems, in-cab wireless internet, and all the other technological advances that make life on the road so much easier and more enjoyable than it was when I started out. So once you get out of school you're going to have a lot easier time of it than I did! :) As smart as you are, all it takes is that pride and determination to be the best student, and very soon the best driver that you can be. You have that - so I have no concerns whatsoever that you're going to be an awesome driver! I'm certain that if I had my own trucks, I would hire ya!
