Unless told/shown new drivers do not know/realize that cargo theft is a HUGE problem in trucking. I never new it was that HUGE until I got into it. Stealing a whole tractor trailer is a very desperate move and it is done. Once you are IN TRUCKING, you look at those semi's and see and think different than the public. Always think SAFETY ON THE ROAD. Now that you are really in training, it is all worth the time and studying you did to get to this point. Even with the economy slowing you down some, look what you have accomplished!! You went from not knowing you would even have the talent and skill to drive these beasts and now you sound like an old pro! Looking forward to the next post. This is bringing back memories.
