I am a team driver having only soloed a few times, but the last time it was I-70 in December. FYI it snows in Vail and Eisenhower nearly everday over the winter and I marvel at the drivers who drive it everyday. Colorado expects you to know how to drive in snow so they don't take real good care of the interstate. Have a good flashlight, learn how to throw chains, do not speed.
