As a part of our growth LKQ is looking for a dedicated and passionate Delivery Driver with knowledge of replacement parts for the aftermarket collision repair industry. The Delivery Driver must have six months driving and warehouse experience with an excellent driving record. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for operating a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers. The Delivery Driver will also be required to manually load and unload the delivery truck, verify that all parts are loaded and unloaded, collect payments from customers, obtain signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of parts received, and deliver returned items back to the branch. Essential Job Duties:
Truck driver will be making deliveries throughout New York City of food products. Driver will also handle invoices, and speaking to clients. Driver will be responsible for loading, and unloading the truck, must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
MUST HAVES
- CDL Class A or CDL Class B
- DOT Medical Card
- 1 Year minimum experience driving a truck bigger than 16 feet long.
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) within the last 30 days.
- If their license is less than 1 year, they will need a Training Certificate.
- Must have less than 6 total points and with out having a suspended license in the last 3 years or anything for driving with a cell phone.
- Ability to make deliveries to customers and work weekends
- If their license is out of State, they must provide an abstract within the last 6 years.
- Able to work with tablets or ipad
