TMC Transportation is now offering a CDL-A training program in-house! This program is available to select candidates that want to drive for TMC, but who do not already have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Former TMC truck drivers are instructors for this course and provide the training and guidance you need to be successful with our company. This program provides all the necessary training in order to obtain a CDL, in exchange for one year of employment driving for TMC.

This over the road position is performed during a typical work week of Monday through Friday. The driving territory is within the Midwest region with occasional local work. Equipment used will be tankers, roll-off frames and van trailers. Experienced is preferred, but training will be provided. A personal truck is assigned with no slip seating. Daily tasks not only include the review of manifests, but completing them at customer sites, in accordance with regulations set forth by DOT, EPA, and state. Strong candidates will have a clean driving record with good communication and organizational skills.
Basic qualifications include a Class A CDL with Hazardous endorsement and at least 2 years class A driving experience. Tanker endorsement along with experience is helpful. Must pass a DOT physical and have a clean driving record.
