Bates Technical College is the only school in Washington State certified by the Professional Truck Driver Institute. Students prepare for entry-level employment as commercial truck drivers with the goal of a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with all endorsements. Bates prepares future commericial motor vehicle operators by providing classroom instruction, on-campus driving range, street driving, using a high tech commercial truck simulator among the various types of equipment.

Monday through Friday, 7am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-10pm

Since 1940, Bates Technical College has been serving veterans and their dependents. There are already about 900 veteran or military students taking classes at Bates, so they have premiere services for veterans and military families.
