Gain the skills and knowledge required to obtain a CDL from Midwest Technical Institute’s CDL training. Students will learn how to correctly and safely perform skills in driver safety, air brakes, combination vehicles, log books, trip planning, public and employee relations requirements.

What does Midwest Technical Institute CDL Training Course Offer?

MTC offers a 20 day course with 168 total clock hours (40 classroom, 16 range, 16 over-the-road and 96 remedial training). Both day and evening classes are available and you will gain a certificate upon completion.

Tuition And Financing

The total cost of the CDL Training Course is $4,000

MTC does not offer financing for their CDL Training course, however incoming students can contact potential employers and find a company that offers tuition reimbursement in exchange for a work commitment.

Program For Military Veterans

Midwest Technical Institute knows the value of the skills veterans learn during military service and how well they translate into the civilian workplace. Midwest Technical Institute has earned the 2017 Military Friendly® School designation. MTI also participates in the Principles of Excellence Program.

Veterans can learn a vocational skill through any of MTI’s mechanical trades, allied health, cosmetology or professional truck driving programs utilizing GI Bills like the Post-9/11 GI Bill and the Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB).
