Hey everyone, long time reader, first time poster. Don't I wish that more forums were run with the professionalism and respect that this one is.
From the time I was...say, 3 months old, until I was about 13, the ONLY thing I wanted to do in life was be a driver. The older I got and the closer that came to reality, my parents (with the best of intentions) steered me towards higher learning, the driving went by the wayside. Fast-forward some 30 years later, I'm a captain in a large metropolitan fire department, which means I rarely ever drive the engines and ladder trucks any longer, but it's where my heart is. I have two kids at home less than 10 years old, so OTR is (unfortunately) likely out of the question for me, but nevertheless, I'm excited to have finally started studying for my CDL and see what I can do with it.
Keep posting the great information and experiences everyone - you have no idea how much some of us appreciate it!
