Let's be honest

Hello people,

Let's be honest, What are you're opinions of Swift Transportation? I get that they're the butt of jokes a lot, but it kind of just feels like the "Make fun of the lil guy" kind of humor. (Even though they're pretty large.)

Anyway, what do you guys think of Swift?

Got fired from Western Express

Hey Zach,

Glad yo hear you still have a job. But your tone from your initial post was very "welp, what do now..." instead of what do I need to do? Honestly, it doesnt sound that your too fond of this job. Im not trying to rag on you, just through your test, its kind of sounds like your dragging yourself along instead of steadily improving or learning from your mistakes. NOT THAT THAT IS A BAD THING. But... BUT... have you honestly asked yourself if this is something you want to go through? Whether its be with W. E. or another company?

Change is scary, but if you need this job, i think a personal attitude change or even how you look at yourself, might make things a bit better for you.

Living in a New State

Thanks for all the information. Id probably have to park it at a terminal and possibly "lift" home, since its more northern than Lewiston. But this information does help. Thank you!

Living in a New State

Hello,

I am moving from California to Idaho and would love to get into trucking. The problem is, is that I would like to come home every month at least! And I have no idea how trucking works in the terms of home time. Meaning, if I take a job with swift, whose main location is in Nevada, but I live in Northern Idaho, do I take the truck home with me? Do I store my vehicle on their main site? How often do new driver get home time?

thanks for the info, Newbie
