Having a passenger and pet OTR

I am considering getting my CDL soon and am wondering if this combination is possible. My girlfriend and her dog (25lb) would be accompanying me on the road during this time so we can see the country and spend more time together. I have my eye set on Prime and they do allow both passengers and pets, but I am not sure if they allow a combination of the two. Has anyone on here had any experience with companies that will train and allow this once solo?
