I guess what I want to know is if I am wasting my time getting my permit and going to the local community college for CDL training. Also this happened in 2018 and with all the court delays took this into 2019.

I ran a red light that was malfunctioning in which I waited over 15 minutes and watched it cycle through for everyone else over and over and over again. I made sure it was safe to do so when there was no cars I went. A cop pulled me over and I tried to explain the situation but he just told me to put my hands behind my back and proceeded to slam my head into his car hood. I was upset and called him an ******* for unnecessary abuse. He put me in the back of his car when it was 113 degrees outside with no AC in the car for over 15 minutes. He comes back and says oh sorry forgot to turn that on, in which i retorted no you did that on purpose and told him I don't appreciate the abuse, and that I am not a criminal. Anyways he ends up towing my car and taking me to jail in which I spend a little under 24 hours in and find out I am charged with reckless driving, falsifying information, obstruction, and conspiracy.

Sorry about all this backstory but just want people to understand where I am coming from. I get a lawyer and all my charges end up being dismissed. I am inquiring about getting into trucking but I am worried this will have effect still somehow. I have never had a ticket or accidents prior to this or after. I have never been arrested other than that time. Also if I am ever in a situation like that with a cop again I know to just shut up now, and I understand that was my mistake.
