My last day!

Well it’s finally here. My last day as a transport truck driver!!! All I need to do is hand in my keys and fuel card. My company has been really good to me and I’d like to thank them for my start in this industry but I’m moving across the country to British Columbia to go dump truck driving for awhile then hopefully back to driving a semi in the spring once I get used to driving out there 👍. I’m going to miss my Mack anthem she is such a nice truck with no gremlins to speak of 👌

To all the experienced drivers

Ha I’ve been averaging 78km=65m per day doing containers i sit in a yard waiting for a crane to come all day!!!! I hate intermodal vs ltl. I miss going from point to point b to c or d asap. I’m going out west next week so I won’t have to deal with this traffic anymore 🤞

How many miles in a day would you call a good day?

Who likes???

Damn now I really miss my 71’ ram 1500 with the bench seat and spray paint silver body and an extra fuel tank in the bed as it was a hunter’s truck. The thing was an un-killable beast that always started first try every time!! My 89’ short box shifted like butter too!

Trucker Humor: Trucking Company Name Acronyms

I see these guys everywhere in Toronto 😑

Not an acronym, but the stupidest tag line ever for a trucking company. It says to me the load is never going to be on time.

Not sure what genius thought this up.

How to deal with being burnt out

Hi y’all I’m working 48-57 hours a week and I do ltl or intermodal. How do people blow off stream on your time off? I’m a huge hockey and F1 fan so I have those to look forward to but that’s not living life away from the tv lol. Btw go leafs go!!!!

Just a funny trucking picture to brighten your day

I found this hazardous material placard next to a trailer lol. I guess the person who glued it to a trailer was bored that day lol
