Hey everyone, I've decided to pursue a trucking career and am attending CDL school this summer. I've been researching different types of trucking jobs and companies I would like to work for if I get my CDL. Different trucking companies recruit from the school I'll be attending, including Werner. They're not my first choice, I am leaning towards LTL or food service. But if I can't get my foot in the door without experience, then Werner has some home weekly dedicated/regional jobs that I am kind of interested in. The problem is they do hair follicle testing and I have alopecia. No hair on my head, no eyebrows, facial hair, none on my arms, legs, chest, just some underarm hair which might not be enough. I don't want to get the job, then get sent home from orientation because I can't produce enough hair to prove that I'm clean, or even worse, have it reported as a refusal. My question is, does anyone know of a similar situation to this potential one and what was the outcome? Thanks to everyone on this forum, I've gotten great advice from browsing it as I begin my trucking career.
