John G.'s Bio

Got my first seat in 1999 driving for the skunk (Dick Simon). It was a high mileage '97 FLD120. In 2001, I backed up to a door in Sacramento a few hours hour after a mentally ill parolee Simon driver decided to commit suicide by driving his tractor and reefer at 70mph into the state capital building in downtown Sacto, killing himself and inflicting tens of millions of dollars in fiery damage to the facility. I was wondering why everyone at the stop was glaring at me and in no hurry to get me unloaded. Guilt by association.

Nowadays I manage a few trucking yards in Fontana.

Diesel Direct questions

I don't think anybody here works for diesel direct.

If pay info is what you're looking for, why not reach out to them directly? It's easier and accurate.

They wouldn't talk to me until I filled out an online application, and I'm not looking for a job. The big boss at corporate was wondering what they pay so he could compare it to what he pays his fuel drivers.

Diesel Direct questions

Anyone know what their reputation as an employer is? The work is mainly fuel delivery for Class A CDL drivers. If anyone knows what they pay , that would be appreciated. This would be for working out of one of their N. Calif terminals.`

Thank you.
