Hey Everyone, Seriously considering get into trucking as a career change do to covid mandates. I'm 53 and a diabetic is diabetes a automatic DOT physical disqualification?

No, it is not automatic. Are you under a doctors care? What medications? Many drivers are diabetic.

Yes I'am under a doctor's care I have my family doctor, endocrinologist, and diabetic educator. I take Insulin 2x daily and my last A1C was 6.3
