He called the license office this morning and they told him there was no mistake on their part that his files shows he has no restrictions, I told him to contact the school to get in contact with the tester.

Assuming the state is not indifferent to the classification and it is legitimate error, best practice would be to get it resolved asap.

In other words, if it comes up later, and he claims to be oblivious to it, it’s going to look like he is voluntarily ignorant to the error or like he’s not monitoring his own credential properly. Always err on doing the right thing. 💪🏻

It could be a state that does not list it?

I just finished CDL school and they only train and test in automatic trucks. One of the student (my cousin) took final test in an automatic but when he went to the license bureau they didn’t put the restriction on his cd I.e. where it says restrictions it shows none. Is he going to have an issue with that if he goes to work driving a truck with a manual transmission? He can drive the manual just fine but we are worried it is going to catch up with him.

Any advice would be appreciated
