Greyhound to prime

I agree.

I rode the hellhound from Atlanta to Salt lake city. Never again lol. But I tell you what, that ride was far and away my greatest motivation for passing my tests and getting in my own truck lol. No way I'm riding that thing back home!

I have a question about prime

I start prime on 6/30 and I was told by my recruiter I might have to transfer my permit to MO I was wondering if that is true. I have a GA permit.

I was told by my recruiter that My delaware permit needs to be transferred as well. And make sure you get a tanker endorsement. I was told only to get combination, general knowledge and air brakes but now they also want tanker endorsement

Sitting at a receiver questions

Hey all...just had a quick question. ..I see people post that they sometimes "sit at a receiver" for "x" amount of hours. I just wanted to know what are the reasons behind waiting to get unloaded? If you have a time to be there by, what's up with waiting hours to be umloaded? I understand not everything is perfect, just want to know why?

Preparing to leave for prime

double-quotes-start.png

Good Luck Carl !!! keep us updated..and we are here to help !!!! Now get back to studying.....we won't have no dummies headin' off to Prime....it would be embarressing !!!smile.gif

double-quotes-end.png

Starcar I know you have not driven in a while but now and again the dummies are slipping through the cracks and into trucks. YouTube has many videos as proof of that.

As with any profession, the dummies will slip thru the cracks. I've seen in in the Marines, and seen it in law enforcement as well. It's always that 10% you have to watch out for in life...not just trucking
