Pre trip inspection test

Tomorrow I will be taking the skills test/pre trip inspection for my cdl. I'm doing it with my pickup truck and the only advice the guy gave me is that big or small all trucks have most of the same parts the smaller trucks just have them hidden. So I printed the list from the manual for my state and brought it to my uncle who owns a ford dealership to go over with. I have it pretty down pack but have a question. In the manual when your checking the steering linkage it says check that joints and sockets or not loose or broken or missing nuts bolts. Do I have to name different joints or can I while checking the steering linkage I'll check the joints and sockets. Same thing for mounts for suspension. Do I just sum it up while doing the walk around and say I make sure all the mounts are bolted on, no bolts or ubolts are missing and everything is secure to the frame and axles?

Dot Inspection test/driving test

Well I passed the general knowledge and tanker test, got my headache rack and all the things needed in my truck. I called to schedule my test for the inspection and driving and they said something about having my info 48 hours before I can test. Anyone can tell me everything I will need to bring. I know he said my cdl permit and licence. Anything else I should bring? Also how hard is the dot inspection and driving? I'm just getting a class C because the hotshot company said I can use my pickup truck, but need some type of cdl to be hired. So I'll be taking the test in my truck.

Tanker Test

Sounds good. I know the tanks and what they do or used for pretty good so hopefully I can pass without a problem.

Tanker Test

I went take my General Knowledge test again this week and passed it. This was my second try. I think this site really helped me learn things easier and was able to pass it pretty easily. Now tomorrow I plan on taking the Tanker test. I still remember my general knowledge info really good and studied the tanker pages on here about 3 times and read through the actual dmv manual tanker section. I took a bunch of practice test and miss one at the most. Should I be good to go for taking the test tomorrow? Is it longer/shorter then general knowledge. Any tips?

CDL Permit

Im doing the learning program on here. If I'm just getting a class C and concentrating on the basic knowledge which sections should I go through on the site and which ones can I skip if any?

CDL Permit

I passed the DOT physical. They wouldn't let me take the test without one.

CDL Permit

I got in touch with a company and they are in need of hotshot drivers of any size truck. I have an f150 and they said I would still need to get my cdl class C. A friend of mine that has been driving for a little told me to just do a couple practice test and go take the permit test. I tried once so far and failed. I was wondering what should I concentrate on studying before I try again. I've been on about 3 sites with different practice test and do great on all those. The dmv doesn't give the manual anymore so I downloaded a copy today. Are there certain sections I should concentrate on?
